Pediatric Prescription Glasses
At Frameworks Eyewear, we have extensive knowledge in fitting children from newborns to teenagers with unique needs. Our opticians can fit a frame and select lens that are comfortable and meet the unique visual needs of your child.
Fit
The frame fit is the most critical and must be done in person by a trained optician. Fitting children's eyewear is not the same as fitting an adult. Children's glasses are measured differently and frames typically will need modification to fit properly. Frame sizes printed on the frame are only a guideline and not universal.
Function
Have bi-focal lens been prescribed? Are the glasses going to be used for sports? Is the child looking over the top of the frame? An expert Frameworks Eyewear optician will evaluate all your needs to ensure what type – flexible, metal or plastic frames – are best.
Service
